Issue #4 marks the beginning of Lunaea Weatherstone's tenure as editor and publisher of SageWoman. Her first issue had as an (unannounced) theme the Halloween/Samhain season; it includes articles on calling ancestors; honoring foremothers; a Halloween ritual by Shekinah Mountainwater; the origin of the scarecrow; Northern Goddesses; an article on birthing in the Goddess tradition and Lunaea's picks for books to read on the subject of women's spirituality. Edited and published by Lunaea Weatherstone in 1987.
